These companies, banks and associations gain the following benefits:

  1. ValuePlus cards become a moving billboard in the possession of their clients who will advertise the company, bank or association whenever the card is presented to the outlets.

  2. ValuePlus cards present an added advantage over traditional promotional material because of the personalization factor, as the name of each cardholder is printed directly on the card. This means that the card will always remain in the possession of the cardholder and will not be given out or thrown away.

  3. ValuePlus cards can be issued at any time during the year and are valid for one year from the date of issuance, making them a cost-effective promotional tool.

  4. ValuePlus cards will soon be launched in Lebanon, Bahrain and Qatar. Cardholders in Jordan may use their cards in these countries once the service becomes available.

  5. ValuePlus cards become an added benefit to clients of corporate accounts as these cardholders benefit greatly from the discounts they get when they present their cards to the participating outlets.

How do members of the ValuePlus corporate accounts issue cards to their clients?
Companies issue the card to their top clients according to certain criteria set by each individual company.

Associations usually issue the card to all their members.

Banks, however, have set standards for the issuance of the card, according to predetermined categories:

Once the bank purchases the ValuePlus cards, it categorizes its clients as follows:

a- Golden VISA card clients
b- Master card clients with yearly withdrawals not less than JD5000
c- Special clients, with accounts that are profitable to the bank, and have good relations with their branches
d- Advantage clients
e- Regular clients

ValuePlus cards are issued free to all clients belonging to categories from (a) to (d). The issuance of the card must be directly tied to the monthly renewal of the master card. Thus, the designated bank employee in every branch must ask the client monthly if he would like to obtain a ValuePlus card, and the card is only issued to the client if he wishes.

As for the (e) category clients, the card is sold for JD 15, as is the case with the Housing Bank for Trade & Finance.
