The ValuePlus Award is given in recognition of excellent service in the restaurant category by a selection process that the ValuePlus card holder rates.

In 1994, this new enthusiastic endeavor, complementing the ValuePlus Card system, was implemented to evaluate each of the 38 restaurants listed in the Index Guide by all ValuePlus Card holders.

A carefully designed questionnaire has been developed to rate the restaurants based on the following criteria:

1. Quality of food
2. Price
3. Service
4. Atmosphere

A winner is chosen annually and presented with the ValuePlus Excellence Award in appreciation of the hard work and commitment to excellence that distinguishes the winning restaurant.
